These cameras use a polished stainless steel bracket and a Sony 700TV lines sensor. They have an 8mm disconnect point so they only need an 8mm hole to get the camera inside the vehicle. They were aimed at the motorhome and caravan market although they can be used with any vehicle. The disconnect point is designed to be in the vehicle as it is not waterproof and moisture may get into the camera via the cable if it is exposed. If you cannot get that connector inside the vehicle we do have a version without it if you ask. The disconnect point will have coloured tap wrapped around it. This is to identify the connector as there are a number of ways these cam be wired. Always match the tape on the adaptor to that on the camera or it will not work. The length of cable to the adaptor can vary from 30cm to 45 cm so if this is important please contact us.
We have options for the colour of the camera body and the camera angle. Narrow angle cameras are usually used for always on rear view and the wide angled for reversing.
