We are operating normally at the moment. We are not accepting visitors to our unit though. We will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
As a result of Brexit and Covid there are increasing freight costs affecting our imports. There are quite strong inflationary pressure on all the raw materials used in reversing cameras. A shortage of LCD panels have made monitor prices increase up to 30%. Currency fluctuations has also led to an increase in component prices especially the Sony CCD sensors. Although in the short term we have absorbed these price rises we are expecting to have to pass some on.
Shipments to Northern Ireland and the EU may be affected by Brexit. Generally there is some uncertainty of the rules especially to the EU. At the moment we have removed our postage options to the EU until we have some clarity. It is quite possible anything sent out into the EU may attract VAT, duty and a handling charge.
