This is a brake light camera to fit a Mercedes Sprinter van. When these cameras first came out the camera did not stick out far enough to actually see the bumper of the vehicle. It gets to within a foot of the bumper, which is OK if you have a step but a tow ball may not be visible. This version uses the brake light LEDs to be taken out your old brake light and clipped into this one. This gets around the early issues of brake light failure warning lights coming on which early version with the LEDs suffered from. It uses a CCD sensor in the camera and has a viewing angle of 150 degrees.
